A Special Boy Turns One :: Documentation After the Fact
The Balach's birthday went off quite well--second and third requests for cake were made (yay!) and my dad and his girlfriend, and my sister showed up in pirate garb. My mother would have been dressed up as well, except that she forgot her costume with the rush out the door to come and help. She was awesome with meal prep and general lendy-ness, and the day was 'T-aaargh-iffic'.
