I've done some drastic (and fun) reorganization around here, and as a result the kids have a new playroom (with a corner dedicated to ME as an office) and the living room has been halved so that we still have a place to eat. Wanna see? I'll include pictures of the dining space when that's finished. It might be a few days.
It has been an eventful week.
- a chipmunk went for a swim in the bathtub while the kids
were taking a bath. The Balach watched it interestedly as it tried to
climb his leg, and the Poppet got out, screaming. It was subsequently caught
with the soiled diaper bucket and removed to the great outdoors.
- G-- doesn't like the color of the office/playroom,
unfortunately, nor the fact that I chose to paint the ceiling as well
as the walls. He accuses it of being 'teal', which he hates. Whoops. (it's
High Dive)
- The Poppet fell into the paint tray, so there's some paint in the bathtub and on
the pair of pants I carried her to said tub with, and the Balach played
with a paint brush when I was cleaning up the mess on the floor from
the spilled paint tray, so it's on one of his shirts, too.
- Also, The top of the dog's ear is blue. I'm not sure how that happened.
- My wrist is still messed up from the fall from the motorcycle in the Spanish Peaks in Colorado, and I actually have to go in for a third round of x-rays sometime today so they can
finally tell me if it's broken or not.
- Life is fun! And interesting!
